Course Overview

PHP, a general-purpose server-side scripting language, is used by more than 75% of the websites for web development.

PHP was originally designed for Web development to produce dynamic Web pages. MySQL is a widely used open source relational database management system (RDBMS) that runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

PHP with MySQL helps in the development of cross-platform dynamic web pages (web pages that interact with the user).
